Description
Kateri is bred to a full chilean male named Meadowgate Boris with her cria last year sold this female is a minefield. I cannot wait to see the quality out of this female.
Kateri is named for a Mohawk princess who several times saved the lives of some of the first French missionaries in North America. This seems like a good name for a female sired by Tecumseh. If background is what you are looking for then the names Schwarzkopf, Royal Fawn, Aristocrat, and Mephisto will catch your attention. Kateri's dam is a non-fading true black whose fiber has held onto it's qualities even as she has gotten older.
Kateri's fiber is soft with good crimp and incredible shine. Conformation is solid, as well as her bite, a trait she passes on to her cria. Her light brown color is perfectly accented by her true black muzzle and feet.
Her first cria is South Haven's Princess, a bay black, who has won several awards including Color Champion and reserve Color Champion, along with first place rankings. Her second cria, born in July 2008, is Tehya, daughter of Goldsmith, has won numerous ribbons (1st and 2nd place). Her 2009 cria, Pocahontas, was sired by The Buccaneer. She is an absolutely gorgeous modern Dark Rose Grey that appears to be better than her 2 sisters. Pocahontas won 1st and Reserve Color Champion in her first show.
Kateria has had 4 crias, 3 females and 1 male. @ females have won color banners, and all have placed 2nd or higher in at least 1 show. Kateri is the definition of a show quality production female.
