Primera is never to be overlooked. Her 2011 son, Phillippe, will convince you!
Primera is a daughter of the famous, light silver grey Peruvian MACUSANI [ARI #117916] of WoodsEdge and the daughter of medium fawn 6Peruvian Good Fortune [ARI #811892]. Like her sire, she is a beautiful silver grey with excellent conformation.
Gentle-natured, Primera conceives easily and was bred three times to a wonderful, fawn herd sire, Napoleon de LaCroix [6Peruvian Romantico son], producing two fawn daughters and a son, PHILLIPPE, a vigorous and handsome ROSE GREY/fawn son with long, lustrous, fine fleece! Based on the grey in the top knot of one of her beautiful daughters, the markings on her son, and her grey and black ancestry [her grand dam: dark silver grey; her half-sister: black], I am confident that she will produce grey or black if bred to grey or black. Her crias exhibit fine fleeces, beautiful heads, and great personalities!
In 2012, she was bred to Rainbow Mountain MOOONTRAXX {"Traxx"} [5Peruvian Quicksilver/CPeruvian Jaxon/PPeruvian Demetrio/Peruvian Maximus] of Peaceful Pasture Alpacas [Curt & De Ruth]. Traxx, an award winner, has it all: fine, fine BLACK fleece; crimp; density; conformation. On September 18, 2013, Primera produced the beautiful, black TRAXX daughter, Priscilla, pictured on the right! Priscilla looks a lot like her sire but does have more coverage in black fiber than TRAXX does.
