Dora Bonita, "Dora" as she's called, belongs to Close-Knit Family member, Patrick Cassese and is offered here for sale, bred and expecting her next cria in September of this year! She is one of those types of alpacas you would call a "staple" for your herd. We think anyone breeding for color would be wise to make sure they have at least ONE TRUE BLACK DAM among their group. Dora is an excellent alpaca, offered here at an excellent price.
She is out of a maroon dam and a dark silver grey sire, so the fact that she's now bred to a lovely rose grey might tell you quite a few things, including that the likelihood of Dora delivering some shade of grey or dark cria is not out of the question.
Dora's first two crias were females (a true black from a grey herdsire and a medium fawn when bred to an all white).
She's an "easy-keeper" if you've ever heard the expression, and would be a very nice addition to any herd...especially for a farm putting emphasis on greys, blacks and maroons. She's an excellent, reliable mother, as well, always having plenty of milk for her offspring.
Dora is seven years old now, which is old enough to have a good, solid track record, and young enough to give you several more healthy crias!
True black, quality production dams are highly prized and valuable to any herd, and Dora is priced to Sell Quickly... so ACT FAST, before it's too late!
