    This suri alpaca male presents a true Shimmerin Gold heritage starting with his sire, MacGyver. MacGyver has made an incredible impact on the improvement of the colored US suri alpaca herd by consistently producing offspring of Shimmerin' Gold's quality.

    Shimmerin' Gold is a beautiful red brown very-typey suri alpaca with a very soft handle & loaded with elite suri alpaca genetics.

    His locks are exquisite and his dam, 5P Shimmer, was hand selected by Julie Skinner for use in Snowmass' elite suri alpaca breeding program.

    Description

    Starr has a great laid back personality, and will most likely be ready to begin his breeding career this Fall. His sire is from the MacGyver genetics which is well known for producing excellent color and nice locks. Starr has a very deep rich mahogany color to him, and a nice soft handle. His show career ended when he had a mishap with a fence which took a chunk of his ear.

    He is definitely ready to breed with the females.
