Taurus is a top herdsire from any perspective. We are looking for him to be Royal Gold's Dark Brown replacement. Structurally, Taurus is a very heavy boned male with a strong hind quarter and a wide chest. He exhibits a very dense crimpy fleece with a fine and uniform handle. One of his amazing traits is his outstanding staple length. Not only has he proven himself in the show ring but he is also one of the highest ranking dark male alpacas in the ARI registry.

This is one of those rare show animals that had consistent placement under different judges.

His color, as well as, more great genetics are provided by his AOBA National Blue Ribbon dam, Indy, who is a rare, bay black, Accoyo Royal Fawn Daughter.

Description

Abby is a top show winning girl that is priced at half her value. Considering she is being sold with her female cria, this girl is a steal. She has a very pretty head and a rich, bay black fleece that is soft as silk. If you are breeding for black or grey - this is the girl will also work in your program. Her 2011 female cria is sired by Eclipse, a bay black, multiple champion and champion producing herdsire. Her new owners should be making plans to show her.

She is bred back to Royal Gold’s heir apparent, Stargazer Taurus, for a May 2012 cria. Abby is a great mother and this cria was one of the most responsive and active newborns we have witnessed in over 13 years. Great Example of Gentic Vigor!!
