Genetics! Genetics! Genetics!!!!! Rockhampton has all the right stuff - and then some!
His dam is Merrimac's Sasha, our color champion daughter of Christopher-B and granddaughter of Accoyo Pinachi. His sire is Silver Rose Ovation, a multi award winning son of 4Peruvian Legacy. This is a deep well of the best alpaca genetics. Proven genetics that have produced high quality offspring time after time. We've had lots and lots of female cria over the past 10 years but this is one of those times we were really hoping for a male. Looking at Rocky - it's obvious why! This is one beautiful male!
He's got it all going for him - heavy bone, straight legs, compact balanced frame, broad chest, beautiful head and fleece that is fine and bright with elite architectural traits. To top it off, he's a very calm guy and easy to handle.

Christopher-B's breeding fee was up at $8000 and Pinachi and Legacy have passed on but Rocky is just starting his breeding career and he'll be keeping up the family traditions, passing on those genetics to his beautiful babies and making the old guys proud!
