Description

Papala has always had a very gentile nature and in her play and discipline she has been reserved but firm which earned her the name meaning Tender. She just seems to have a very tender caring spirit about her.

When it comes to her fleece we are seeing solid character with a nice handle. She has a bright black fleece under her tips. Her outstanding fleece characteristic is density and that she has a lot! Jude Anderson at her last show was very impressed by her density and we realized if she was as fine as Iohitica exactly where she would be in the placings.

Papala was bred for a 2015 cria to Shaddow Spirit. We selected him for this breeding due to his ability to carry fineness into later years.

Delivered a nice Bay black male today by way of FTAF's Blackbeard. 7-25-2017.

Outstanding briteness, handle, and character put her ahead of this field. Class of 6.

2012 Spring Bling - True Black Yearling Female - Jude Anderson "Very robust frame well suited for breeding. She is very dense but was just not as fine as the placings ahead of her." Class of 9.

2012 Nationals - Fleece True Black Yearling Female - Kathy Klay's comments reflect what we see in her fleece "Awesome handle and brightness". Class of 7.

2013 Southern Select - True Black - the judge stated, "Very consistent staple length" scoring 6 of 8 for micron, 6 of 7 for length, 4.5 of 5 for color with average character (crimp) and better than average density. Class of 3.

American Fiber Rally 2013 - Wini Labrecque stated, "Lovely soft handle to this fleece."
