Katari is Bolivian Noche's last baby - she is officially retired now at 16 years of age. But she has left her legacy in Katari. This Avatar boy has the handle and luster we covet - is quite fine - and no apparent guard hair. Pretty crimp!
And Oh My we adore the face on this boy - he has the cute factor X 10. Look at those ears!
We really love his maroon color too. In some of these pictures you'll note his fleece is a bit smooshed and indented from having a show coat on. It fluffs right up, he has a ton of it.

He is very soft and his character is just starting to really pop.
We have hopes that he will follow in his paternal brother's (Delphi's Kallari's) shoes - and be another champion feather in Avatar's cap.

We did a histogram on him - just for fun. 6-9-10 - @ just 2 1/2 months of age:
AFD 16.1 / SD 3.4 / CV 21.2 / 0.6% >30
We'll get a real histogram on him at shearing May 9th - results due soon!
