Lauretta is a very dense female with good crimp and lots of bundling. She has a long staple length and is a wonderful mother with ample milk supply. Her personality is very sweet and loves to flirt with the boys on the other side of the fence, even when she is pregnant. So we always have to ultrasound her to make sure.
Her comformation is excellent with a good bite. She has one female and one male cria that she has produced for us. I would like a another girl and black. Luretta seems to allow the color of sire to come through. Both were light colored sires with the last two offspring. Her daughter is producing wonderful cria also, so we need to deverse our lines more. Luretta is an 4Peruvian Legacy grandaughter on her Sire's side and all black genetics on her Dam's side. This girl is a very easy keeper and would be a great production female for one who is starting out in alpacas. She has good size cria (18-20lbs), and no problems with births.
