We invested in this male as a young juvenile. As an adult, he has become everything we hoped for. Sergeant Major has all the elements of a great herd sire, including flawless conformation and a fleece which is dense, slick and lustrous.

Sergeant Major has been producing mainly dark progeny which have been lustrous and well conformed. His offspring have all been Suri! His kids can be seen participating at most eastern AOBA certified shows and many of them taking Champion placements.

A breeding to this male will surely produce a beautiful colored cria from your dam.

Peruvian Sienna produces both white and rich color (deep red-browns) when bred to color. She routinely produces lustrous and soft, well locked fleeces. All her offspring have been well conformed. Her most noteworthy offspring from 2005, Bouldermont's Grant, earned the following awards:

Color Champion - 2006 NAAS; 4th Place(class of 12) - 2006 AOBA National Show; 2nd Place (Shorn) - 2006 NECC; 1st Place Fleece - 2006 NECC; 1st Place (Shorn) - 2006 Empire Extravaganza; 2nd Place - 2007 NAAS.

Sienna is a consistent producer of robust high quality offspring. She is an easy birther and an excellent mother. She is bred back to our Champion Herdsire Buggati for an April '09 birth. A red-brown deeply colored cria is likely.

Grant's herdsire, Sargeant Major Jax, who needs no introduction, has produced some stunning offspring that have consistently championed at the shows. Grant is no exception. He has drapey locks with a high luster uniform fleece and slick handle. His head is regal, his confirmation excellent and temperament very gentle spirited. He warmly greets anyone who enters the barn. Grant will contribute color and luster, he is one of the best Sargeant Major cria on the ground. Grant's lineage is the well known Juan. Grant has produced two cria in 2010 which have very gorgeous luster and lock formation. One white, out of a white female, and one light brown out of a white female.
