Description
Alberta Clipper comes from all Peruvian/Australian roots by way of Canada and is Co-owned with Cas Cad Nac Farm. He was imported into the U.S. through their friends the Buhrmanns, owners of Mountain Meadows Ranch in Pincher Creek, AB. This super typey male comes from bloodlines you don't often find, with his entire lineage originating in the Peruvian herds of Australia's famous Jolimont Alpaca Stud. He is available for breeding either at Barron Hill or Cas cad Nac with a limit of 5 outside breedings being offered.
By the time Clipper entered the show ring in the fall of 2003, he had developed to such an extent that the judges were singling him out of the large white classes as soon as they looked at him. Ian Lutz "was continually reminded of a young Super Nova" as he watched this young male develop and receive awards at every show he entered. Clipper has won classes competing against some of the elite males in the country; his show results are available online.Clipper just placed second in the mature male class at the north american check out the results on line to see his class competition. This special male posseses excellent fiber, brightness, density that cracks with every step and lovely architecture in his fiber. He has a nice compact frame and has retained his exquisite fleece characteristics at 5 years of age with a micron of 21.6.
Clipper is a gentleman in every sense of the word, a lovely male, very gentle, easy to handle and passes those traits on to his offspring. He has two male cria and one female cria to date, a white male BHA Angelo, a dark fawn male, BHA Robert Redford and a light fawn female. Clipper is allowing color to pass through from the dam, along with his wonderful fleece characteristics. His first is a wonderful, beige male, Barron Hill Angelo, and last year's is a fawn male, Barron Hill Robert Redford. Clipper is allowing color to pass through from the dam, along with his wonderful fleece characteristics. At Barron Hill we offer several incentive programs: we offer mobile breedings in New England or you may arrange a drive-by to our farm. Traditional breeding services are available with 60 days free board, progesterone confirmation of pregnancy and 30 day live birth guarantee. We offer drive-by at Barron Hill at $2,250.00 and a 10% multiple breeding discount for 2 or more breedings. Limited to 5 outside breedings.
