Description

luvia is a true beauty with soft and dense rose grey fiber. The name Lluvia is Spanish for rain. She was named that for the small patch or red fiber under her left eye, that makes her look like she might be crying.

Lluvia comes from a line of rose grays and is an asset to anyone's breeding program. She has a wonderful presense and conformation. So if you are looking for color, conformation, crimp and quality look no further than Lluvia. Lluvia has been bred to our premiere herdsire Captain Nemo. A new line in rose greys! Summer Sunset was born to LLuvia at the end of the summer of 2007. Summer is just beautiful. One of the nicest girls on the farm. She is a rich brown, with the Nemo conformation and coverage. She never turned into a solid rose grey that we were expecting - but she is a beautiful friendly girl. Truly one of the friendliest girls on the farm. We bred Lluvia back to Captain Nemo and have a full sister to Summer Sunset, the lovely rose grey girl Cleopatra. A lovely traditional rose grey with the little rose grey cap and tuxedo.

She is expecting a cria in late spring 2012 sired by our own 3X Champion Silver Crown.
