This elegant girl has a beautiful, light rose-grey fleece that is
soft, bright, dense and exhibits high frequency crimp. She is
sired by Patagonia’s Drake, a Danko son with extensive black
and grey genetics. When bred to black or grey females, 97% of
Drake’s resulting offspring have been black or grey. Fresia’s
dam, Angela, is a Nishio daughter. Nishio was the 2004
All-American Herdsire and the 2007 Reserve All-American
Herdsire of the Year. Should be ready to breed this fall and
sells with a breeding to the Patagonia herdsire of Buyer’s
choice. We would be happy to take her home with us after
the sale until she is ready to breed.

Description

El Valiente is a Bay Black male out of Patagonia's El Vasco and Patagonia’s Fresia. This guy has great fleece. This fine looking fella has already impressed at the 2010 Futurity Sale and Show. And, he was the youngest in his class. This El Vasco and Fresia boy followed in his dam's footsteps by placing 4th at Futurity. He placed 4 of 9. We are so proud of his early accomplishment.

El Valiente has correct confirmation, perfect teeth and bright, long staple length. We are expecting big things out of this guy.

We love El Valiente’s genetics but he does not have the conformation we are looking for in a herdsire, so he is one of our offerings at the 2012 Alpaca Expo. El Vasco is a Patagonia's Neruda son sold for $205,000 in the 2007 Futurity Sale and Show.

Awards

2010 Futurity Sale and Show - El Valiente was the youngest and smallest in his class. Amanda VandenBosch commented on his fineness and consistency of crimp.
