UPDATE OCT 18, 21010: Colette gave birth today to a true black, full Bolivian son! He is a big handsome fellow. We are relieved to know that there are young full Bolivians being born to carry on their proud heritage.
Colettee 's fleece is a non-fading true black. It exhibits excellent staple length. She is an experienced mom with unassisted births and loads of milk. She stamps her cria with fleece that is long, lustrous and extremely fine. We are pleased with the little girl that she just delivered in August. The little one is full of energy and growing quickly. She is a beautiful fawn with grey highlights. Her fleece is one of the finest on the farm.
Colette is from the Acero Marka breeding program, the premier breeding program of Bolivia. Her father is the true black import, Acero Marka's Alfonso. Colette has been bred to our true black, full Bolivian herdsire, Night Vespers of Bolivia. We look forward to what promises to be an outstanding cria!
