Huacaya, Female, Non-Breeder | Medium Brown
Rhoda is a medium brown girl with silver fibers in her blanket - and a few small rose spots on her neck. Her mom is a medium silver gray. Her dad is a beige Peruvian that gave Rhoda her typey head and very nice fleece. Rhoda's fleece has won prizes in fiber art competitions. It has a lovely handle, good density and soft crimp. She has given us two lovely babies that we are keeping in the herd, but both crias needed supplementing, so we are not breeding Rhoda again.Rhoda is a very smart girl that is a pleasure to have in our herd. She is very friendly and interactive. She is a good auntie and gets along well with other alpacas.Companion girls are a valuable asset especially for a small farm. They can keep new girls company in quarantine, can go with sick girls to the vet hospital, and can keep the weanlings company. If you only have a few alpacas, having an extra girl to keep them company if one or two needs to go away for rebreeding is handy. She sells as a non-breeder. Rhoda may be included at no charge with the purchase of a breeding female from Delphi.
