Payday is a top producing Full Peruvian Caligula son with 75 cria on the ground so far. He is 1/2 Accoyo, and 1/2 Allianza, which gives him very valued genetics. The renowned Hemingway was from the same Rural Allianza import that Payday's dam came from. The quality of the animals from that import were among the best in the world at that time, and his dam was a perfect example of that. Unfortunately, his dam Modesta was injured, and only bred a few times. But that makes Payday's genetics even more amazing, and desirable. He most recently won a Get of Sire award (the first of many I suspect), which demonstrates the quality of his cria. His male offspring are, themselves, herdsires for other farms. Direct Caligula sons are sought after throughout the Country. Payday continues to produce cria that are highly valued, and in demand. We are very pleased to add this amazing male to our program. Mobile breeding is available. Remember, genetics is the key to the alpaca business, and Caligula genetics are prized above all others. Ask any breeder, Hemingway and Caligula are the two top males of all time.
Below are a sampling of awards that Payday's crias have won. He throws every color, including true black. His fleece, even at his age, is buttery soft.
January 2007 update: Payday just took second in his Get of Sire competition, losing to Posidon himself. Here are the results for Payday's cria: Pistol Pete (a son) LF took 1st and reserve halter of all lights and 1st and color champ fleece all fawns. Scottie (a son) took 4th in both halter and fleece MF. Augustus (a son) took 1st in DF.
We are scheduling limited outside breedings this year, so call early. Most likely, we will stop outside breedings next year as he is getting older, and we want to limit his use.
