Description

Beignet is a gorgeous female out of Blackbeard's Ruby Rose and Rare Gem Dunkin (she does have one spot on her ear). Beignet has the typical strong frame with a gorgeous head and huge bone that comes from the Blackbeard line (Blackbeard's line typically lets the Appy come through so this lovely lady would do well when bred to another unrelated Appaloosa) . Her fleece carries a bolder crimp style which is consistent throughout her blanket. Primary and secondary fibers are very close in micron which is what produces that consistency. Her fleece also has a nice handle and has a fair amount of density. She is also very easy to handle and a very curious girl.

Her Sire - Rare Gem Dunkin has the Appy genetics on both sides of his pedigree and has been putting some incredible Appy babies on the ground. Check them out on Dunkin's Openherd page.


Beignet would definitely be an amazing addition to any Appy breeding program . She is the best of both parents!
