Description
Sheik is the elder stateman of our herd having been with us for 13 years.
He was a reserve champion in his younger days and still is a handsome fellow at the ripe old age of 19.
On a lark in 2013, we decided to show at a Buckeye Alpaca Show and Sheik ribboned and received compliments from Judge Wade Geese even though he was competing against much younger herd sires.
Sheik is a gentleman and as such he has blessed us and other farms with many beautiful offspring.
He is retired now but still yields several pounds of beautiful fleece.
(We have always charged extra for yarn made from his fleece because of it's quantity and quality.)
