Red Granites At A Boy is indeed a grandson of our Futurity & National Fawn Champion Herdsire: CCNF Legionnaire. Legionnaire himself cannot produce black, so we have been utilizing his sons to do so - and it's a success!

Coming from our sacred "Arabesque" line, we know just how potent this young male will be! His granddam, Lancaster's Ausable Arabesque is one of our finest and reserved foundation females, and besides being the dam of Red Granites At A Girl (dam of At A Boy), she is also the dam of Presidio's Ausable Pirouette. Pirouette has two offspring working at EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud, one at each of their locations: Red Granites Pecos Pete (True Black Champion Male in AUS), and Red Granites Pixie (Dark Brown Female on her way to the UK). We think that says a lot.

Red Granites At A Boy is a well-grown out male for his age, and carries through with some very favorable fleece traits: density, brightness, fineness, and uniformity. The Legionnaire line is known to have lingering fineness & uniformity traits. He also has very pleasing phenotype.
