We expected Rush to be an EeAa - non-grey but to our surprise, he came back as Eeaa! As expected, he does carry one dilution gene but he does also carry the double black ASIP mutation alleles.

This little male combines great lineage including Bea2Bombers Wingman (Bomber), MMR Marcoyo and Snowmass Truly XXXtreme on his paternal side. His dam Pure Romance is one of our favorite solid colour females in our program and is the result of crossing the Snowmass Conopa XXX line with the Snowmass Pure Reserve XX (Pure Passion) line. This genetic combination has yield many Judge Choice and Colour Champions over the years. We suspect his dam to be carrying the roan gene and we do see a colour variation in this boy's secondaries as well, which also gives him a bit of a modern look.

This medium size boy has great coverage from head to toe. He carries an amazing amount of fleece which displays good fineness, uniformity, appreciable brightness and a well-defined crimp. He did very well in his first showing as a juvie, placing 2nd in a though fawn class!
