Description
Brodie is an outstanding son of Island Bliss's Fuego, a Rebel grandson, and our Damaris. He has excellent conformation and dense, crimpy fleece. Even for a young boy he carries himself with that confidence and strut that you like to see in a potential herdsire.
He was the youngest animal (composite show with his cria fleece) and placed fourth in his first show where all of the dark males were grouped into a large class. The judge, Ruth Elvestad, made a special note that she was anticipating very good things from Brodie and was looking forward to seeing how he matured.
Although Brodie was registered as Bay Black (which he was when he was when we registered him), his fleece color changed and his fleece is actually Maroon!!!! His second fleece is really beautiful! Some say that a maroon animal hs the potential to throw rose gray. With the depth of gray genetics Brodie has from his sire, we're pretty excited to see what he can do.
We have listed a partial interest in Brodie as we expect to be breeding him ourselves when he comes of age.
