Description

Summer Snow is everything we'd hoped for when we bred her dam Zoe to Christopher B. She is beautifully conformed with dense bright crimpy fleece that covers her from top to toes. A very intelligent, calm and friendly girl, she is a joy to have in our herd.
Summer's pedigree includes Hemingway, Yupanqui, Dom Alamir and Peruvian Leon on her dam's side. Her sire, "ChristopherB" owned by Champion Alpacas is a high impact herdsire who's offspring are in high demand.
Although Summer is white, there is a wealth of color genetics on her dam's side so there is the ability for her to produce color in her cria.

All of the females in Summer's maternal line throw high quality cria, are easy to get pregnant, easy birthers, heavy milkers and great mothers. Summer carries on the tradition in her offspring. We have 4 generations of these females on the farm and a great deal of confidence in them.


Summer's sale price includes a breeding to any stud here at Merrimac. As usual, you can use the breeding on Summer or on another female in your herd.

OR - you can lease Summer. $2000 gets you Summer, her breeding, birthing and board until your cria is weaned. This is a great way to get her amazing genetics.
