Description

Tic Tac and Privateer did it again! They produced two beautiful harlequins, two years in a row. This is the third Appaloosa in a row for Tic Tac. All three were out of a non-appaloosa gene carrier, solid colored males. It is highly likely with this pedigree and production thus far, Tic Tac is homozygous for the appaloosa allele(s). Tic Tac’s color genotype is Ee a2a3 and her sire, Privateer’s color genotype is ee a2a2. This pairing was apt to create a beautifully expressed appaloosa, as this offspring Carrie’s two black alleles- one from each parent. It is highly likely she will darken over time as is typical of harlequin appaloosas.

Rare Gem Hat Trick,, is a beautiful, large-boned but feminine, solid and straight (from the get go) girl. She has a gorgeous head with full coverage. Her champion sire, FTAF’s Privateer is the producer of multiple champion offspring. He is an elite fleeced, sturdy, handsome male, known for stamping his beautiful head style and fine fleece on his offspring, and he didn’t fall short with Hat Trick.
