Classic Grey

Stunning color on this little girl! Jade was registered as LSG as we couldn't really pinpoint from the color chart as a cria but she definitely turned out to be a LRG! This was pretty evident after her first shearing and after receiving her genotype!

Jade has great density to her fleece which is very typical to her dam's line out of Conopa XXX. She has a high frequency crimp and good staple length. Her fleece is also completely uniform in color a part from a little darker fawn spot high on her neck.

This girl is expressing an atypical classic grey phenotype because of her "Aa" genotype but she will produce classic greys at the same rate as a normal "fully expressed" classic grey. We plan on breeding her to an undiluted male carrying a double ASIP mutation (EEaa) so that she is able to produce "fully expressed" classic grey on a 50% basis when throwing a classic offspring.
