Tornada came all the way from Colorado to join our herd! HUGE thanks to Twisted Heart Alpacas for producing such a beautiful girl & letting her come all the way out to Kentucky!

Tornada shares the same sire as Twisted Heart's Tempest who just won 2022 Grey Color Championship at GWAS for Walking Fleece. Tornada comes from grey genetics, and has genetics from Peruvian Inca, Peruvian Bruxo, Silver Bullet, and WRSA Gray Illuminator! We are beyond thrilled to add her to our herd, and can't wait to see the possibilities with her!! Tornada takes after her mother. A lovely head, and big pools for eyes. I've been wanting to add new suri genetics for a long time, and was so happy to find Tornada!

Her dam, Cutie Pie was still in the Top 10% EPDS in 2021 at the age of 12!
Her sire, Grey Pelo is a gorgeous grey boy.

Tornada arrived and is even more beautiful in person! She's got such a sweet personality & fit right in with the girls here. She pushed her way in during feeding, which was great since some of my pregnant girls can be pigs - but Tornada doesn't take no for an answer. She took an immediate liking to our new girl (who she came here with, Calliope), and Lovie (who's from the same farm as Calliope). She greets me at the fence when I come in, and follows me around to see what I'm doing. I'm already in love with her & cannot wait to see what she can produce for us!!

January 2023 update - Tornada is just absolutely stunning. She greets me everyday at the fence, and is never found more than a couple feet away from Calliope. They are just two peas in a pod & are inseparable. I love seeing Tornada's long locks of fleece flow in the wind. She's such a character at feeding time - she runs down the hill and just flings herself all over - then has to eat a few pieces of grain from my hand, before she eats with everyone else. She's a sweetheart and I couldn't be more pleased with her!

June 2024 update - we recently bred Tornada to our white male Wheel in the Sky. Hoping for a gorgeous cria out of this pairing!
