Description

Firefly is a stunning appaloosa female I could not wait to have here! Appaloosa has always been a dream of mine, and when I got the opportunity to purchase this girl - I couldn't say no! She is a big gorgeous girl, with the cutest spotted face! She has spots all down both ears as well, and down her neck. She has more spots elsewhere but as her fleece grows out it's harder to see them!

Firefly comes from Hobby Horse of a Different Color, a SA Peruvian Black Epic son.

Firefly is currently bred for a 2024 cria with Snowmass Midnight Victor. We have our fingers crossed for an appaloosa baby!

We are thrilled to have Firefly as a member of our herd. Firefly is fitting right in here, is extremely motivated by food, and really such a sweetheart once you have your hands on her

Firefly had a beautiful baby girl on October 7th (our wedding anniversary!). Unfortunately even after extensive care at University of Tennessee, baby Lady had to be euthanized after back to back seizures. Firefly is now retired and will live her best life here on our farm enjoying guests & being hand fed all the snacks she could ever imagine!
