Theodora was our very first alpaca :)
She was a very calm female and amazing producer. Sadly, she had the M-worm in the winter 2015-2016 while pregnant of Aure. Her spine was cruved as a C, she didn't felt a thing, even when she was delivering her 2 last crias!
Daughter of the mighty Marcoyo and of a Reserve Champion Coyo destini daughter, her genetics are amazing. Her full-brother is Monte-Cristo, producer of award winning crias for us. Theo is Top 10% EPD's for MSL and Top 25% for FW.
First cria was a 15 microns female, we still never had another alpaca in the 15 microns (talking from 2020 - but I know that we will soon!).
Akyrima was her second cria. Again, fine fleeced and with a great staple length.
Her masculine offspring kept their crimp for a long time, even at 7, Atila's fleece is very crimpy.
Her last daughter (also Andrade's last daughter) is an award winning female, Reserve Champion as a juvenile, and just one of our best female. Aure is in my point of view carrying Marcoyo's legacy in our herd.
We will not hide the fact that her conformation was not the best. Yes, her muzzle was long and yes, she didn't have coverage on her head and legs, but we want you to know where we've started and see the achivements there was in our herd over the years where we put a lot of our time, effort and hardword - and money - something that we are proud of... and the good new is that if you take a look at her brother Monte, you'll notice that this guy have a short muzzle and good coverage wich leads us to the fact that Theo doesn't have this good looking phenotype, but this look is in her genotype!
Even if this lady's muzzle is long, look at her grandson A Gold N' Roses! He is just stunning in every way : perfect conformation, perfect bite, fleece coverage and that amazing fleece! Want to look further ? Take a look at her great-grand-daughter Miss At Broadway!
We have zero regrets to have started this crazy adventure with her.
