Description

Although this cria seems fawn, we had a hunch she might turn out to be a modern rose as we have already had 2 amazing classic tuxedo rosegrey full siblings out of pairing Sierra (XXXtreme line) and Wingman (Bomber line). As soon as she was born, we noticed some lighter colored fiber around her ears and end of tail. This is typically something we do not want to see in a solid color pairing but as this female cria has a solid LF dam and a grey sire, we were actually excited!

4 months later and with a bit more fiber growth, we can almost certainly confirm that this girl will turn out to be a modern rose! Coming from this exceptional line cross makes it even more exciting! She already displays the amazing fiber traits we have seen in her full siblings so it will be very interesting to see how this little female evolves…

Expected genotype: Eeaa (No testing required here as we know her sire is an EEaa and dam is expected to be an eeaa. With many offspring on the ground, we can come to conclusion that dam is eeaa).
