    Description

    I thought this one was another white cria from a distance. Mom Ella had her without issue mid-morning out in the pasture. Only found her because of giving a farm tour and finding a fresh placenta. That's Ella, a little early and in secret for showing any signs of labor. Lucy has very curly fleece and is extremely soft. Was worried about her being more of a white with black fiber but the black is very fine. This girl is very robust with perfect conformation and is sweet and curious. Very proud of Primus adding such crimp and nice handle and shine to this girl.! Lucy has a maternal half brother that had fleece early on with very little crimp. Then at around 8 mths the crimp really came in along with great density but still keeping the fineness and consistency. Lucy had spiral curls as new born and now fleece is fairly broad but getting tighter quickly. I think she will surpass her brother easily. Her sire Primus should have done better in the invited Champion class at Nationals 2020. He was almost 5 yrs old and judge forgot that when placing him. She said "this young one..." and my husband cocked his head and she corrected herself. His fleece is so soft! Going to get tested soon.
    Lucy appears pregnant from her June 2023 breeding to our TB Polson but we have not ultrasounded.
    Lucy birthed a gorgeous msg female June 3rd 2024. Pixie will be added soon to our page. Will probably repeat the breeding or put Seriously Silver on her soon.
