    Even more outstanding, his BLACK fleece micron AFD at a year old was 19.07 and at 41 months old were still only 20.8, with a SD of only 4.9.

    Black Medallion's sire, Snowmass Silken Gold is light fawn and his dam, Maite's Madison is TB with gray behind her.

    Black Medallion is about average in size with his current weight right around 125 pounds he is a perfect herd-sire for even females on the smaller size.

    WLK Serengeti is registered as a Bay Black, but I have listed her as a True Black because she is as Black as they come with some minor reddish Brown trim along her thighs. Sera, as we call her, comes from two True Black parents. Her sire is the late True Black “Sudden Impact who was imported during the 90's when imports were subject to much higher inspections than the earlier chileans." Her dam is True Black "Aysen’s Rain Dance."

    Sera has proved to be an excellent mother with plenty of milk.

    Serengeti has now produced five solid Black cria from three different herdsires. She is a great foundation dam for adding Black to your herd. She gives birth easily and two of her deliveries were done with out humans seeing them.

    Her purchase will include a re-breeding to any of our true black herdsires. This means you will more than likely end up with three True Black alpacas with one purchase. You can choose which Black herdsire that you want to use or you can even choose one of the non-black herdsires.

    Sera delivered a fantastic gold colored cria in April who developed a severe eye infection and died while our vet had her on the table working on her eye.
