Description
Tomas is one of our top herdshires. He has sustained silky fine fiber. His 2024 AFD was 25 with a comfort factor of 88. If I had access last year to lower protein hay I know the AFD would have been a bit lower.
We showed Tomas at the 2022 California Classic in the Halter Full Fleece in which he placed 1st and was also color champion as a 5 year old. Judges commented on his sustained fineness despite being a few weeks of 5 years old. He was invited to the nationals but we were unable to travel to show him.
Tomas "Tommy" is also one of our ambassador animals. Tommy frequently comes to vending events, parties, and picture booths. He is well known at CalPoly BRAE!
Tommy has produced several cria and most have his silky fine fiber with plenty of luster.
