    Description

    READY FOR RE-BREEDING THIS FALL. Some special foundation females come along occasionally that you are very excited about. Beautiful is one of those alpacas. She is the daughter of Deja Vu's Royal Legacy by Best Man. She is well proportioned and has beautiful fleece that is very dense and fine. She is now a proven dam with the birth of her first cria, a female from her pairing with Majestic's Man.

    Beautiful's Dam is one of our prized foundation dams. Her dam is a daughter of Hemingway's Bogart, upon which most of our foundation dams have his genetics. Beautiful missed the show season as a juvenile, and the 2021 show season was limited for us as well. Her only fault would be facial coverage but easily corrected with the right pairing.

    The judges remark in the Bred & Owned Halter class was "this alpaca is incredibly dense, it was difficult to open the fleece it was so thick". She also carries long staple length and is very fine and uniform. This is evident in her yearling fleece with an AFD of 17 and an SDAFD of 3.5. Her staple length with a years growth is 113 microns. Beautiful has all the fleece attributes you would want in a breeding female, staple length, fineness, density and uniformity. Her 2023 shear weight was 7.0 pounds, evidence of just how dense she is.
    Beauty certainly has a respectable show record.

    Beautiful Storm, Beautiful's first cria won reserve champion in light walking fleece at Gold Country Gathering in 2023. Beautiful's progeny is living up to our expectations from this proven dam. Beautiful is re-bred to Majestic's A Man Among Men since we got such a beautiful progeny our of this pairing in 2023.
