Lorraine was purchased at auction to capture her pedigree into our true black line development and looked forward to the breeding to Snowmass Ovation offered at auction however he was confused with Patagonia's Chulo resulting in a striking line bred silver gray MAMGB Apo Niya in 2010. We were thrilled that the doubling up on Neruda resulted in no issues verifying that line for us.
MAMGB Kaichiga, Lorraine's 2011 cria, went poof when he dried out, and then developed into a very good looking young macho with an AFD of 18.85 and an SD of 4.32 for his first shearing. His second fleece is coming in consistent with a very fine handle.
MAMGB Suluta, Lorraine's 2012 cria, arrived in September, well conformed, spunky, and a wearing bright, true black, fleece densely covering her frame from topknot to toes. These are the blacks that are fun to watch develop each day bringing more and more satisfaction that "you got a good one there."
The 2012 breeding was so successful we decided to repeat it for a 2013 cria, but we will have to be patient and wait that event until October.
Delivered a stunning rose or caramel colored female in Thahca with such a mild disposition September 22, 2013.
