His paternal grandsire is Snowmass Nova's Private Reserve XX, a famous black multi-champion. Magnificent's paternal pedigree also includes Snowmass Nova, Peruvian Drambuie, Snowmass Drambuie Kaluha, Snowmass Casanova, Peruvian Bueno, Peruvian Angelique, Cordelia CODI, Snowmass Black Satin (Dam of Satin Reserve), Snowmass Peruvian Black Legend & Snowmass Private Reserve (Sire of Satin Reserve); and two famous Snowmass True Black Imports Dams: Peruvian Silent Night & Peruvian Black Lace!

Magnificent's dam, Patagonia's Magnifica, is the daughter of our legendary multi-champion brown herdsire, Patagonia's Lennox and award winning Nishio daughter, Patagonia's La Sombra. Magnifica brought home multiple blue ribbons on our 2010-2011 show strings.

In October 2021, Magnificent was assessed by AOA judge Arturo Pena as having "a good handle, average micron for black and his age, and good crimp". We think he is a nice-looking male with a beautiful head, big bones with lots of leg coverage, and he has a pleasant disposition and walks well on a lead.
