Description
$2500. Beautiful girl out of Snowmass Kahuna's Dreamer, which goes back to Conopa's Kahuna and Conopa XXX, Snowmass XXXtreme, Snowmass Quechua, and so many other notable herdsires. And on the dam side, Snowmass Touche', Messiah, Matrix, and Royal Challanger. So, this girl is pure Snowmass at its best, with plenty of color buried within that pedigree!
AO is for sale at a super low price because she has a skin condition that requires vigilant maintenance. We believe it to be zinc deficiency; however, with a herd our size, and our current physical limitations, AO doesn't get the attention she needs. Otherwise, she's robust and healthy. None of her offspring to date have had this issue. If you look at the second photo closely, you can probably tell that there are a few bare spots on her side (with fiber having grown in such a way that it's a little hard to see). I feel certain that this is a solvable problem with the investment of a little bit of time. She had a hint of this issue from the day she arrived on our farm. Please contact us for more info.

AO has proven to be an excellent dam with plenty of milk. Her crias hit the ground running, and they carry strong fleece characteristics. See details of her crias below. She apparently slipped her 2023 pregnancy, and due to our current circumstance, we decided not to re-breed her this year, so AO is being offered as an open female, but we're happy to re-breed her for you if you would like.
Financing Terms
Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received.
Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
