Dozer did fantastic in the show ring. He is carrying the fantastic phenotype of both his sire JJA Royal Adonis and his dam HRAZ Alegra. Alegra is a Legacy daughter who herself won 7 championship in both halter and fleece. I managed her for our boarder and always thought she would do her best bred to Adonis. Finally, that came to be and I quickly purchased this boy and never looked back. His presence is extraordinary which was true of both parents. Delve into the fiber and he has wonderful, soft, consistent bay black fiber that is also very dense. The bone on this boy is large and his bite right on! His dam took on the sire's color consistently and Adonis colors up greatly so I'm sure if you put this boy on a dark female you will come up with a dark fleece that feels like a white fleece. You could also breed to any of your girls to add the dominant genes for his straight frame, large bones. Add the perfect conformation and you are sure to have a winner! Check out the impressive show wins keeping in mind that they were highly competitive (especially the GWAS show!). Sorry, I have not had a histogram done on him recently but I have used his blanket for my yarn which I'm very picky about!
Check out Darby! His first cria is 2 shades darker than the dam for a medium brown beautiful female. Wish we could have taken her to Nationals in 2016 as she placed 2nd behind the juvey who took the championship there. She also took home a blue at MOPACA! In 2017 she took a first at Nationals and a 2nd at the MOPACA show behind the National Color Champion who was in the combined brown class vs separate like at Nat'l. We only bred a few girls due to herd size when Dozer was starting to breed.
I'm having a tough time using this guy to his potential with my darker females being related to his Sire.
A Champion Full Peruvian with proven strong genetics on both sides for $2500 is a crazy good deal!
