Majestic Meadows is proud to announce the addition of Snowmass Matrix Midnight to their herdsire row. This extremely true to type Black Matrix champion son brings new excitement to our black breeding program. He has created champion offspring in the past who in turn have created multiple champions, and this 2009 Futurity winner is expected to do the same for our program.
He has both Grey and Black in his pedigree which makes him a candidate to breed for either grey or black. Watch for Majestic’s Cria out of Matrix Midnight to hit the show ring in 2019.

Description
Snowmass Deep Blue XX, affectionately called Big Blue on the farm, is what he is, a big personality with a large, male head & a blue-black fleece, his only white fiber being one small white area (possibly from an injection) on his front leg. His stats until two years of age put him in top numbers for EPD's, though his journey eastward with the rest of the Snowmass black breeding program to Virginia blew out his numbers on his fleece
Big Blue has fantastic confirmation, a classic head with majestic presence, good feet & proper bite, is masculine in every way and he loves the ladies on the other side of the fence, and is always eager to let them know he's nearby. Sadly, the two females he bred both lost their crias due to Hurricane Dorian in September 2019; he will be put back into the breeding pool in the fall of 2020 to try to get some cria on the ground to see how they do in the long term
