Bacardi was a surprise to us... literally! We'd sent our girl up for breeding to Silver Rose Sentinel twice with no success, sigh. But then, Lin offered a weanling female to make things simpler all around! What a gift!!!

She's a lovely true black girl with soft, crimpy, dense fleece. So we took her to the gold Country Gathering where earned a 2nd in walking fleece and a 3rd in halter. Not bad for a gift! We planned to show her again in the spring, but life had other plans.

Description

At birth, we thought Juhlia might be rose gray. But as she grew more and more silver fibers appeared so that now her fleece is like a water color with the color ranging from silver gray to rose gray as you look across her body. Check out the picture of her neck as she's being sheared.

Like her half siblings, she sports abundant crimpy, soft fleece that you want to touch over and over. And check out the fleece coverage that extends across her nose! Look for Juhlia and the others in the fall shows!

We named her Juhlia Talvi (celebrate winter in Finish) because her fleece color seems to be an evolving celebration of color!

We accept cash, check, Venmo or credit card. Financing is available on all alpaca sales. We can work with your budget. We ask for 25% down, no interest if paid in full within one year of purchase. Purchaser will provide alpaca insurance on each animal until paid in full. Breeding/Show quality maidens come with a free breeding to any Menagerie Hill Ranch owned unrestricted Herdsire. Agisting (boarding) available - 30 days included with in State purchase of breeding quality alpaca. 90 days included for out of state purchases. Purchaser assumes all Vet fees. Transport available - first 100 miles included with purchase of breeding/show quality alpaca. Package deals available.
