We at Morning Moon Alpacas were looking for an elite herdsire while attending the MAPACA Jubilee in April 2008 and the stars aligned. We purchased Nobility from Phyllis Decker after he won the Light Male Championship.
I'm a fiber-holic and I have never seen anything as beautiful, bright, crimpy, high amplitude, long staple & fine (19.5 micron at age 3). This is the fiber I have always dreamed about. Almost forgot, he has great conformation & usually settles the female on the first try, too.
Please call Morning Moon Alpacas today to reserve your breeding to this amazing male. You will want this fabulous fiber in your herd. We are offering discounts for multiple breeding purchases.
June 2012: Nobility now has 38 females and 12 male offspring. Way to go Nobility!
4/25/09: At the MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show Nobility won the prestigious Judge's Choice Award. We are so proud of our boy! He got a 20 out of 20 for Fineness & Handle. (I'm all "whoo hoo'd" out.)
4/18/09: Triple whoo hooo! A Light Male Championship for Nobility at the Maryland Alpaca Show & Sale. Judge Wade Gease described his fleece as exciting, exquisite, buttery soft, well organized, fine, consistent and incredible. Didn't I tell you that you should reserve a breeding to him?
3/15/09: Double whoo hooo! Another Reserve Championship for Nobility. The judge loved his fiber & perfect conformation.
3/8/09: Whoo hooo! Nobility just won another Male Light Championship & the blue at the Southern Select. Judge Jude Anderson announced to the audience that everyone should take the time & put their hands on Nobility. He has consistent, fine, crimpy, soft, & bright fiber from front to back and down into his belly. She said that his was "the fiber the entire alpaca industry should be breeding for". It took 1 1/2 hours to get from the ring to our stall so many people wanted to touch him. We are so proud.
We are so excited for more of his cria in the spring and fall of 2011. Nobility's 3 new cria on the ground today will be ready for show in the spring. Stay tuned for more winners.
See Honey Bunny for Her Wins.
His 3 new cria will be attending Nationals this spring and we can't wait to show them.
