Delivered a fabulous classic silver gray boy - I know we all love our superlatives, so short version:
We're Really glad he's a he. Big smiles!

The judge loved Shiny -
Reserve Champion Brown (class combined males and females) in GWAS walking fleece 2018 - class of 20;
which included the Male who won the 2018 GWAS Brown Halter Color Champion the next day. She was only beaten by the male who won the Reserve Championship in halter. So yup it was a Very competitive group.

Amazing Density, fineness, length, character - it's all there.
And her second fleece is even better. And, the rest of her is wonderful too!

We bred her to GE in October for what is a crazy exciting baby, due soon.
The cria will surely be a Super Typey Fabulous Fleece Machine cria - like both of its parents.
Update: Yup. :)

Shiny's mom is a lovely fine classic silver gray, a daughter of an amazing Snowmass sire.
Shiny's dad, Romeo, is an exceptional example of Renaissance Ridge Alpacas' superb breeding program. Romeo's mom is Full Sister to Guns A Blazin' - thought to be the very best offspring of Guns & Roses (who is full brother to 38 Special).
Her Pedigree Power shows.
She took after her sire in color, but Shiny does show hints of gray - such as an interesting bit of gray "smokey eye" eye shadow when she was young.

Good bite and solid frame, oh the babies she will have.
