    Patagonia's El Vasco has a championship show record due to his very stylish look and very dense (70 follicles SQMM) very soft (19 micron) very consistent (SP 13to1) fleece. El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. He has a beautiful head. Vasco is 1/2 brother to Kaspa, the 2003 AOBA grey champion male (same dam). He has sired well over 100 offspring.

    El Vasco was sired by the famous, exotic modern grey Neruda. One of the industry's rare dark point grey's, Neruda sold for $205,000 making his genetics some of the most sought after in the country. Vasco's dam, Melosa was sired by PPeruvian Pluro who made a name for himself in Peru, the United States and Australia. Pluro's breeding's were in high demand for his ability to pass on his incredible fleece coverage and large bone.

    • Density: 70 follicles SQ MM (rates in the top 1% of all alpacas tested by Dr. Evans)

    2013: AFD=23.6, SD=4.9, CV=20.9, >30=9.5 At age 10!!!

    Patagonia Estates Marseille (out of 2x Champion Patagonia's El Vasco and Patagonia's Madrid), has dense, bright, soft fleece with good lock structure and a sweet disposition.

    Marseille's line is known for lasting fineness. Her sire, El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). Marseille's paternal grandsire is Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction.


    Offspring:
    On 10/10/2017, Marseille had ESTATES SATIN MAGNOLIA, a true black beauty out of 8x Champion Estates Satin Cloud. Oh My Gosh, you will not be able to take your hands off of the bundling of Magnolia's fleece, which goes all the way into her underbelly!
