Lydia is a 1/2 Peruvian daughter of 5Peruvian Silverado, a legendary Peruvian macho who has produced numerous show-winning offspring. Lydia has great conformation and strong bone. Her fiber is super, super dense, with lots of crimp and very bright. She is a wonderful foundation breeder, an easy birther & a great mom with lots of milk. In fact, she tends to watch over all the cria in the herd.
Lydia has given us 2 girls or we would not be willing to part with her. Her 2009 cria Red Acres Samoa is an exquisite true-black beauty sired by My Peruvian Lorenzo. This girl is everything we had hoped for and has placed in every show in which she has been entered including a 1st in halter at the 2013 North American Alpaca Show. Her 2008 cria Lydia’s Windsong is a well-grown girl with tons of bright, white fiber with a very long staple. In 2007 Lydia also birthed a female cria RSP Pawlet with very dense, soft, crimpy dark brown fleece with a very long staple length.
Her June 2016 cria out of our true black herdsire Nicodemus is a striking true black male with white markings.
For an additional $200 we would include a breeding to one of our herdsires. Lydia is also available in a package at a further-reduced price.
