What can we say? Banners, Blue ribbons, amazing bloodlines (have you looked at his ARI?), Champion offspring. Why are you NOT breeding to this amazing specimen of everything you can ask for in a herdsire?
BREAKING NEWS! Leonidus' Layla took a 2nd place in the dark brown juvenile halter show at MAPACA, and a 1st place in the Small Breeders Show, also at MAPACA!! She's the pretty brown one with the blue ribbon -- she is lovely, and if you choose to breed to Leo, yours can be too!
Leo consistently stamps his progeny with his phenotype, density, and fineness. He is maintaining phenomenal density well into his breeding years! Leo's previous owner did not do a histogram, but we can tell you his offspring are winning ribbons of their own, and all who have been tested have fiber under 20 microns. If you'd like histograms from some of his crias, just ask and we'll happily forward them to you. Check out the pictures of Leo crias at the bottom of the photo column. None prettier!
And Leo's biopsy (May, 2014) reports are in! Density: 58.6 mm; Secondary:Primary fiber ratio: 9.8:1; In-skin mean primary fiber diameter: 24.8 microns SD 3.2 microns range 19.9 to 31.5 microns; secondary fiber diameter: 19.8 microns SD 2.8 microns range 14.2 to 19.8 microns. Everything we thought we knew about this male is TRUE!
Discount breedings are available for champion females, multiple breedings, and breedings to Snowmass Quechua descendants. Give us a call!
