GLR Picasso is sired by Shavano, the 2010 AAA Dark Herdsire of the Year. His mother was one of our ranch favorites, and top producers of all time, Rock Star's Peruvian Paloma, also a multiple color champion herself. His micron count is 15.8, one of the lowest colored suri micron counts we have ever experienced at Great Lakes Ranch at the time. His luster in incredible and at only 6.2 months of age he entered his first show and came away with the Brown Male Reserve Color Championship at the 2010 AAA Futurity and the 2010 GWAS in Denver. He is greasy to the touch and has a great head and full beard with amazing coverage ever since he was born. Picasso's first offspring was GLR Amayah, out of one of our best producing foundation females, GLR Amelita, and she topped our crop of kids on the ranch for that year and took 2nd at both the AAA Futurity and MAPACA, the biggest show of the year, and went on to win the Reserve Brown Female Color Championship as a juvenile at the 2013 AOBA Nationals. Amayah, the next year went on to continue to win color championships and a coveted Judges Choice Award at the AAA Futurity, and Brown Color Champion at the Suri Network Fleece show. Picasso himself was 1st in his class in the Mature Brown Male Class and was favorably talked about by senior judge Jude Anderson for his luster and regrowth on his third fleece. His second daughter a beautiful true black female named GLR Jamiyah was a multiple color champion and earned 2 Judges Choice awards at the 2015 AOA Nationals that the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee. Two notable 2015 cria that made waves in the show ring in the spring of 2016 were GLR Joaquin, who started his show career at just over six months old and won the Reserve Brown Color Championship at the 2016 AOA Nationals and also at the Mapaca Jubilee.
