BB Farm's Blue Lightening was born here on the farm on shearing day! The herd was all settled in the paddock with 5 minutes to go before the shearer arrived and suddenly there was Blue on the ground with his mom and aunts and uncles all checking him out! He arrived into this world in less than 16 minutes and was ready to run in even less time! He was chomping at the bit to walk and run! This is one strong and independent little guy who is growing up before our eyes!

Blue has the strong body conformation and striking looks of his father, WGA Supernatural by Nexxus, who is the herdsire here at Bluebird Farm Alpacas. The density of Supernatural's fleece is amazing - every time he's been in the show-ring the judges have commented on his superior density. His conformation is solid, square and well-balanced. He has a correct bite, a gorgeous wedge-shaped muzzle and a typey Huacaya head. He has amazing fiber coverage and crimpy fleece. Supernatural's fleece architecture and bundling is excellent throughout his entire body, up his neck and down his legs. The brightness is excellent, as well!

Blue's dam is also owned by Bluebird Farm Alpacas and she goes by the nickname "Nizzy" (her full name is Abenaki Niswiak). She is a friendly light fawn female. Her fleece has tremendous density with abundant crimp and staple length. Her blanket is deep; however her fleece is fine. Nizzy's face is a beautiful camelid face. Nizzy’s conformation is extremely stately; she has good strong body structure. Nizzy handles motherhood well. Nizzy's sire is Principe Donato, who has placed in the top two positions at large Level V shows. Principe Donato has been judged with all the top fawns in the country by the most experienced judges.

Given Blue's genetics, we expect great things from this little guy in regard to fleece, body structure, and temperament!
