Description

Congratulations to Chet, Jennifer and Gavin Thompson on their purchase of Flying High!
Flying High has a super-fine fleece, with a 2014 AFD of 15.6. She has very good density, uniformity, and structure of lock, as well as great coverage. Her sire is Lionheart's Connagher, a full Peruvian with Accoyo Felix and Hemingway as grandsires. At 14 years of age his fiber still tested at 16.4 AFD!
Her first male cria, Flying HIgh's Golden Glider, is dark fawn sired by dark fawn Sunset Hills Golden Thunder, 13x champion, Get of Sire and Judges Choice winner who at 7 years old still tests at 20.7 AFD and 18.8 CV! Congratulations to Dutch Hill Alpacas on their purchase of Glider.
Flying High is now bred to our up-and-coming rose grey herdsire, Flash Flood. Flash possesses a higher frequency crimp style, and both are fine and very consistent. This breeding should produce an excellent offspring!
