Morty is adorable! He has perfect alpaca type and his fibre is very dense and fine.

Morty was sired by Elite General Ledger. This line was brought in from Australia. Ledger has 2 of the "Big 6" herdsires in his pedigree...Purrumbete Ledger's Dream and Purrumbete Sir Titus Salt. These were impact herdsires for Australia. We only know too well how an Australian herdsire can impact a breeding program (Jolimont Peruvian Sweet William). Our "Australian" crosses might be very interesting!

Morty is still showing incredible fineness at age 2 with a histogram of 16.9! Even with his huge growth spirt, Morty's fineness is amazing!

Elite General Ledger is now deceased. This line will be held tightly here at KJ for years to come.

May 2013 - Just off the shearing table and again this year Morty has beat all expectations! His density combined with fineness is...well...extremely hard to shear! Even his legs are buttery soft!

Morty settled his first female. We look forward to seeing what he will produce.
