Solstice, born under the winter sun, with a hint of beige in his locky, lustrous fleece, is an outstanding combination of 2 outstanding parents--6P Accoyo Crown Royale (Mapaca 2000 White Suri Yearling Male Champion, 1st Mapaca and 1st AOBA 2003 Suri Get Of Sire, plus 6 1st places for fleece including 2004 Mills Choice and AFCNA awards) and 6P Nastaza, mother of Arizona Sage who was undefeated in the 2002/2003 show season with 7 Championships. The older he gets, the better he looks. Solstice held an AFD of 26 at six years of age and had density of 48 at the same age!

Trixie is out of Acero Marka's Tess and one of Ameripaca's finest - Acero Marka's George. Trixie's genetics are rare as both her sire and dam live in Canada, and George is used only on a limited basis here in the States.

Trixie has a fine fleece (skin biopsy showed average micron of 22 at 6 yrs of age and an S/P ratio of 10.25:1) and produces crias with well defined locks. She exhibits luster and density (skin biopsy results show density of 48 follicles/sq mm), and a very pleasing head with solid conformation. She has maintained her fineness, which we consider to be a critical component of any seed stock breeding program, and definitely hard to find!

Description

We have bumped up Firecracker's stud fee because we have three years of offspring on the ground, and we've now gotten biopsy results and three years of histogram tests on his first offspring - and results have not disappointed! See the description for "Salt River's Caleb" for all the details!

Firecracker's density test - at 3.5 years of age - was 83 follicles per sq mm, he has an S/P ratio of 14:1, and a micron spread between primaries and secondaries of only 7. At six years of age, Firecracker still presented us with an AFD of 20, and he ranks 65th out of 4,497 Suri males for AFD in the EPD program - the top 1.5%! And he has sheared 6.5 lbs of blanket and neck fiber every year. He is truly an amazing guy.


His offspring are showing wonderful, locked regrowth, they are holding their fineness as they move into adulthood, and all are conformationally correct.

We are convinced that Firecracker is one of the finest Suri herdsires out there, and we invite you to give him a try!
