    Jacob an excellent appaloosa herdsire. He has a crimpy, and shiny fiber, and a tight crimp structure that has maintained well as he matured. His abundant spots are distinct, nicely sized, spread consistently across his blanket. This is why he remains an appaloosa has he ages rather than becoming a solid or harlequin grey as most leopard coats do. It is so soft, with uniformity of micron between his light and medium fawn areas. His coverage and regrowth in staple length is excellent.

    When bred to solid dams he produced solid colors and greys, with a base coloration driven by the dam, with his excellent fiber characteristics. When bred to appaloosa dams, Jacob has produced appy crias. Jacob is a good fiber choice in a herdsire whether breeding for solid color or not! His 2012 boy, Weston, was sold with a 14.1 micron fleece! (6/1/2013 AFD 14.1; SD 2.9; CV 20.8; %>30 0.4)

    Description

    Tiara is a lovely girl with the softest buttery hand. Her fleece is bright white and has lovely crimp. She is from a Blue Ribbon white dam and a Color Champion appaloosa sire and carries fawn spots on her muzzle and feet, so I am thinking she can produce appies.

    Tiara is breeding to Big Hat Ranch's Blade Runner for a 2018 cria.
    She had an amazing appaloosa boy, BSRA Blade Runner's Requiem. He has taken blues in halter in all but one show where he took a 2nd Unfortunately, there were not enough multis for championships at those shows. His fleece took 1st and Color Champion at the AOA International Fleece Show! Blade is now co-owned with Cass and Old Dog Galloway of Big Hat Ranch.

    Tiara is bred to Camoflage for a 2020 cria. She had a gorgeous little white girl, BSRA Emily. Emily has spots on her nose and feet, so we're pretty sure she carries the appy gene.

    Tiara was bred to Red Granite's Mateo and produces a gorgeous appy boy, BSRA Uhtred. He has taken several blue ribbons already. He has micro spots like his sire.
