Nebraska's fleece is Extremely impressive.
A top ribbon winner at several shows in halter - it was his very rare fleece quality that made us select him as a service sire for our girls.
Amazingly fine at 3 years of age - but the uniformity was what sealed it for us.
We Love the fact he still has less than 1% fibers greater than 30 microns at 3 years of age!
And it feels as thick as a carpet.

Description

Yay! Dave has had the last leg wrapping removed! His once broken leg, is now naked for the first time in about 4 months. He still has to build strength in the muscles and stretch those tendons and ligaments - but every day he is walking better!

Ouch - We found Dave with a broken Tibia one morning - we have no idea how he did it. There was lots of rambunctiousness going on that AM - and there were a few patches of ice - we can only surmise.
But - happily we have a wonderful vet, who pinned his leg and applied a great cast. Poor Dave has to be in a confined area with his mom (poor Jazz!) - for several months - but 4 weeks in, x-rays show great healing so far. Fingers crossed for a good outcome!
But sadly no shows in Dave's future.

Once he is fully healed, Dave will be available to a new loving home.

Dave's fleece is very soft and uniform -
Very bright - just glowing with crimpy curls that we sheared off when he was just 3 days old.

If you have the right home for Dave, with a nice companion or two his age -
he should be very ready to travel this fall.
